Providing services across Derbyshire to Small-to-Medium sized Enterprises (SME’s) Working Well aims to improve the health status of the working age population by providing health promotion and health & safety advice and support services to workplaces.

The programme is delivered by the Health Promotion Service of Derbyshire County PCT in partnership with other local business support agencies.

Working Well East Midlands is a regional pilot programme to improve workplace health focusing on the workplace as a setting to encourage lifestyle change. It aims to ensure all East Midlands organisations and businesses are aware of their potential to influence the health of their workforce at both corporate and individual levels.

Employers can do some of the following to promote a healthy workforce:

Working Well East Midlands main themes covered includes Healthy Eating, Know Your Numbers, Physical Activity, Stopping Smoking, Stress Management and Environment. Each theme lists advice and information on how to incorporate activities into your workplace.
