Local weight loss support

LiveLife better Derbyshire offers free weight management support for people across Derbyshire. A range of support options are available based on an individuals need and include:

  • 12 week group based programme
  • Self-support: If you are unable to attend a group based session then you could receive an initial consultation with an advisor and an option to attend weigh-in support sessions for up-to 12 months
  • Specialist weight management programme: a one to one support package with one of the advisors for at least 6 months for those who require more intensive support. There is also the opportunity to attend appointments with dieticians and psychologists to support further
  • Workplace offer: Weight loss programmes are available to support staff within local businesses
  • Online tools: A range of online tools are available on the Live Life Better website to assist people with weight management - click here to visit the site

A community lunch takes place at Hill Street Baptist Church, every Friday 2-5 pm alongside the Clothes Bank.
